Day 1 & 2...

...have been quite the challenge for sure.  Let me start off with a little background of myself.  All through my youth I've struggled with my weight.  Due to personal situations and bad eating habits, it wasn't until after high school when I put on most of the weight.  Towards my mid twenties, I realized I needed to change.  I wanted to be healthy and gain more confidence in how I look.  It wasn't until just recently (July of last year) that I met a wonderful individual who has been helping me through this hard process of dropping those pounds.  Not only is she my trainer, but she has become a wonderful friend and mentor.  When I first met her, I weighed in at 360lbs.  With her help, I was able to drop ten pounds until I had a medical situation come up, which limited me from doing any physical activity for a few months. :( My friend didn't give up on me, she continued to motivate me and find other ways to help hold on until I could train with her.  The day the doctor gave me the clearance to start working out again, it was like..."Yipee!!! Game on!"

So here we are, I jump back in and start all over again.  My weight this time? 370lbs. O_O Not good.  But it was okay, my friend reassured me that we'll start taking it step-by-step, day-by-day.  With her help, I was able to get down to 345lbs before the start of my new challenge.

So now I begin the journey of this possible 25-30 day juicing/blending challenge of nothing but fruits and veggies.

Day 1 - 5/19 (345lbs) - Yeah, I was dying! Absolutely dying.  My body was like, "Girl, wtf are you doing to us?" :) I started blending what I had on hand until I could go shopping the next day.  So, with the NutriBullet, I blended up spinach, bananas, mango and peaches.  I had that throughout the day until it was time to go to bed.  It really is a mental challenge.  I have to constantly tell myself, "I can do this. I got this!"

Day 2 - 5/20 (342lbs) - After a fun day of swimming (training) with my friend, I went straight to the store to buy all sorts of fun and color fruits and veggies.  With a list of concoctions I can make (given to me from my trainer), I just put together a quick carrots, apples and banana mix and drank that throughout the day.  When I was work, I brought my container filled with juice.  Let me tell you, it's hard to work at a kids party place when pizza and cake come in and out all day.  Very challenging.  At one point, I had to make sure that we had the correct order of pizza come in for a party.  In doing so, I opened the bag it was in and got a good smell of CARBS. OMG, that was the worst hunger pain I felt. Hahaha, I counted my boxes and left quickly.

So far, the start is slow, but good.  Let's see what happens on day 3 & 4 shall we? :) Stay tuned!
